Look back at the year with us, as we reflect on a time of new partnerships and customer success.

Let’s look at some of our favourite highlights of 2024 and summarise a year of growth, including becoming sole European distributors of POLYtij thermal inkjet printers. 

A Year of Engagement: Exhibitions and Events in 2024

We had many events and exhibitions to attend this year, but the best ones for us to shout about are those we exhibited at, PPMA in September and Empack in February.

Exhibitions are always a great opportunity to speak to our customers in person and showcase any new bespoke labelling machines we might have. We also give customers new and existing the chance to have a live demonstration at exhibitions and help them find the right machine to suit their labelling needs.

Exciting News: POLYtij UK becomes part of the Dura-ID Solutions Group

We’re very excited to announce that POLYtij has officially given Dura-ID Solutions t/a Atwell Labellers sole European distribution rights going forward, adding to the company’s impressive and growing range of labelling and marking solutions.

Customers need the utmost flexibility when it comes to their labelling and printing needs. This new partnership helps us to provide our customers with even more options. POLYtij (Digital Ink Technologies) is at the forefront of manufacturing cutting edge thermal inkjet ink and printers and utilises automation to improve cost, productivity, and operations.

This expands how we can help with product marking in a variety of industries, including food and drink for best before dates and SKUs and within the chemical and pharmaceutical markets for the simple printing of batch codes directly on to the bottles or containers.

Another Successful Year

Our expert team have been looking at introducing current machines to new markets over the last 12 months. The bunch applicator, that had been used and introduced originally in horticulture for daffodils and cut flowers, has now been introduced to the food industry. With the unique wrap type labelling, it was perfect for other bunched products including asparagus. spring onions and celery.

We have tried to make more time for our existing customers this year and site visits are just one way we do that, giving us the opportunity to see the machines in action and offer any technical support needed while also building stronger relationships. This is something we found very successful and are looking to go visit more customers throughout next year.
